Unsurprisingly, there's ten tapas bars a penny in Barcelona. Many serve pretty much the same thing. The bread in Barcelona is a Catalan speciality - it has a tomato paste on it and goes beautifully with some Spanish ham.
Some personal favourite tapas were stuffed peppers; snails; squid; jamon serrano; hot sausage and calamari.
In my opinion, tapas is better for lunch rather than dinner.
